Export Distribution is a remake of the 2003 piece Export Distribution which is a map of the world highlighting major export trade partners between countries. Countries are sized in proportion to their population and their colours reflect their political regimes. Arrows indicating the major export trade partners move between the countries. The information required to create this remake was sourced from the CIA's World Factbook and the United Nations.
This piece was commissioned by Mark Titmarsh for the Third Australian Biennial of Reductive Art held at the University of Technology Sydney in January 2024. Here is the catalogue.
