The Unbearable Weight of Ordinary Things was an exhibition event held on one evening in the Australia Council’s Los Angeles Studio. It was the result of three months research into the human cost of producing ordinary objects found around the average western home. Over 100 labels placed throughout the studio apartment gave viewers information on the unjust practices involved in their production.
